Pastor Mark Hager
Pastor Mark has served at BVCC since 2004, when he and his wife Amy were hired as Youth Directors. Mark took on the role of pastor in 2008. He is also the director of the Bally Community Center. Mark is a graduate of Temple University where he was involved on campus with Campus Crusade for Christ. Before coming to BVCC Mark spent 15 years as a middle school teacher of science and math in Christian schools. Mark also spent one year in Guinea, West Africa as a missionary teacher. Mark’s seminary experience is from Biblical Theological Seminary and Seminary of the East, both in Pennsylvania. Mark has a passion for ministry and service and believes in reaching out to others in love, knowing that Jesus Christ is the way to peace in our lives.
Gala has served as Director of Music Ministries since 2004 and was hired as the Administrative Assistant in 2012. She serves as the choir director and pianist for the church as well as director of the Community Choir. Gala has a degree in sacred music and a degree in Music Education from Messiah College. Since her early teen years, she has served various churches as a singer, song leader, choir director, organist, and pianist. She also taught elementary/middle school music in public and private schools for fifteen years and gave private lessons. Her passion is to use her talents to guide others to use their gifts to bring praise and glory to God.
Holly Jones is currently serving as the Ministry Coordinator. She graduated from Messiah University with a degree in biology and from Drexel University with a degree in nursing and spent many years as a nurse. She now enjoys doing a little bit of everything in her role and has a passion for being able to serve God, the church and the community in whatever way possible.
Pastor Robert Gerhart
Pastor Gerhart is the former pastor of BVCC where he served for nearly 20 years. Currently he assists with pastoral care and visitation of shut-ins and those in the hospital.
Church Council is made up of representatives from the different committees of the church. We come together as a Council to make decisions as a body about the day to day business of the church.
