Youth Ministries

Junior and Senior high school are some of the most challenging times of life. During these years students are impressionable and peer groups along with the messages from our culture can drag them down the wrong path.

Here at BVCC we are passionate about supporting parents in raising Godly young people. We desire to see young people connect in a personal way to God, be impacted by his unchanging Word and live positive lives of influence in their culture. We invest time and energy to make BVCC’s Youth Group a place of safety and acceptance where kids can grow in their love of the Lord and their relationships with one another.

Sunday School

Youth Sunday School meets for youth-centered Bible study, discussion and prayer. Announcements on upcoming events are also given. Youth Sunday School is open to grades 6-12.

Youth Night

Our Youth Group meets from 6:30-8:30 p.m on Sunday nights. We have a great time playing games and learning more from God’s Word. During cold weather we meet at the Bally Community Center, and when the weather is warmer we meet at the church. Friends are always welcome!

Retreat

We have an annual retreat for the Youth Group at The Loft in Halstead, PA. This is a great time to hang out, play games, and hear from a speaker as they share from God’s Word.

Summer Missions Trip

Each year we have at least two opportunities to serve in missions. Every summer we host Kids’ Kamp near the church and also participate in a national or international missions trip.

  • Locally
Each year we host “Kid’s Kamp” in the Bally Community Park during the first week of August. This is a day camp for area kids that will be run by the Youth Group. Grades 7-12 are able to participate in this Mission opportunity to the local community.
  • Nationally
In the summer of 2022 a group travelled to Ohio to serve the people of the Malta community by helping at Morgan County United ministries.
  • Internationally
In 2014 we sent a team to Honduras to work with the MAMA Project doing Medical and Construction ministry. This was our second trip with the MAMA project after taking a group in 2012.
