Opportunities to Gather
Please find attached a flyer for the upcoming Women’s Bible Study. The two times offered for this study are Monday evenings at 6:30 -8:30 pm in-person at church and/or via “Zoom”. This begins on October 5. A Wednesday morning study will be held at 10:00 am beginning on October 7. Please read the flyer or contact Linda Kriebel, Amy Hager, Kelly Hetrick, Diane Lawrence, Tammy Taylor, or Holly Jones with questions and to sign up.
Our Worship Service begins at 10 am. It will be cooler this Sunday morning, so remember staying in your car is an option or dressing warmly. The message this week is from Psalm 68 titled “The Antidote for Loneliness.” The service will be livestreamed on the church Facebook page at 10 am. After the service, it will be posted on the church YouTube page and on the church website.
Youth Group plans to meet outside at the church, September 20, from 6:30-8:30 pm.
We are having weekly Prayer Gatherings on Sundays from 9:30-10:00 am inside the Sanctuary with the air conditioning. All are welcome to join in this time of prayer for our communities, this country, and the world.
Our BVCC Zoom Prayer Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22, at 6:30 pm.
Young Adult Sunday School Class meets outside after the morning service.
Announcements
The Youth Survivor Croquet Tournament will be held today, September 20, at the Mennonite Heritage Center from 3-5 pm. Spectators are welcome!
The Women’s Ministry Team would like to host a wedding shower for Laura Reichle, Patrick Helverson’s fiancé, on Sunday, October 4 at 2 pm. It will be at the church.
The Playground Set is scheduled to be moved on Tuesday, October 27 starting at 9 am. Please let Pastor Mark know if you are willing and able to help with this project which is to be done under the direction of a professional installer.
A Bally Community Center volunteer meeting is scheduled for September 21, 2020 at 6:30 pm.
The Bally Community Center is opening! The first week is September 22-24. Grades 9-12 will meet Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 pm, grades 5-8 will meet Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm, Grades 1-4 will meet Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm. We will be wearing masks, and there will be new wavers. No snacks will be provided, but there will be lots of fun!

Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is holding a Prayer March in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, September 26 from 12-2 pm. Consider joining in prayer from your home if you cannot attend.
